Joyce A. Lombardi, age 82, of Lockport formerly of Lewiston died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Joyce was born on January 23, 1939 in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Leo and the late Ella H. (Herman) Greaser. Joyce graduated from St. Mary’s High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for Niagara Pediatrics /Summit Pediatrics as an LPN for over 40 years, working previously for Louis Kramer MD. Joyce enjoyed sewing, quilting, four-wheeling, water skiing, boating, camping in Zoar Valley and spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by her children; Janis Lombardi (Carl Monkelbaan), Jayne (David) Sortore, Joyce Ann (Late David) Trietley, Jerri (Anthony) Presutti and Jason (Jen) Lombardi; 10 grandchildren; her sisters Jane (Gordon) Knapp and Carol (Clifford) Koppmann. She is predeceased by her son James S. "Jimmy” Lombardi.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 11th from 4-7 PM at the Hardison Funeral Home, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, April 12th at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Town Line Rd., Ransomville, NY with Rev. Daniel Young officiating. Please assemble at the church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven at a later date.
