Obituary of Ellen McClelland

Ellen McClelland, age 96, of Ransomville, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at home. Ellen was born on February 13, 1926, in Buffalo, NY. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Leola (Bradley) Pearce. She married Frank "Jupe" McClelland Jr. on October 4, 1946, he predeceased her on March 21, 2003. Ellen was employed as a lab tech for Pfeiffer Foods in Wilson for 30 years. After retirement she went to work for Mills Jewelers in Lockport. She was an avid reader and spent most of her time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters; Linda Steck (Richard Laskowski) and Barbara (Joseph) Calato; her grandchildren, Scott (Francine) Westmorland, Todd (Jenn) Westmorland, Mike (Heather) Spencer, Joel (Jenn) Spencer, Patrick, Josh and Sara McClelland, many great grandchildren and her sister in laws, Anita, and Kathy Pearce. She is predeceased by a son David McClelland; her siblings Betty (Late Daniel) Sheehan, John, Jerald and James Pearce and Kathryn Defilice, also her grandson Andrew McClelland. A memorial service will be held at Exley Methodist Church 338 Lake St. Wilson, NY on MONDAY June 27th at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY at the convenience of the family.
