We offer our deepest sympathy to Martha's family, whom she loved so much. She was a wonderful lady and loyal friend. Martha always was so cheerful, fun loving, kind and such a caring soul. We are so sorry that we didn't have the opportunity to send her our love and to say Good Bye! She was an amazing person and will be missed by many. Sorry we are unable to attend her service because of health reasons. Our thoughts and prayers will be with her. God bless and keep you Martha Rest in Peace my friend.
With our Love
Mike & Rose Brown

I am saddened that we never had a chance to say goodbye. You were such a loyal and reliable member of the St. Mary's family and the Labor and Delivery staff. No department had a better champion or tireless advocate. It's impossible to calculate the number of mothers and infants that you guided through labor and delivery but they all benefited from your presence. It was an honor to work alongside you all those years and a privilege to call you our colleague. Extraordinary people leave behind unforgettable legacies and you will never be forgotten.
God speed,
John and Carol Greene

Martha was such a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Her smile always light up the room. I was a fellow nursing student and will cherish the great times we spent together. May she rest in peace!

I am so sad and totally shocked to hear of Martha's passing. I join all those who mourn her loss. Although I had not done OB in many years; I fondly recall the reassurance and skill she gave everyone. On my 60th birthday she brought me a beautiful cake she baked and decorated with my black " doctor's bag" on the frosting. I will never forget you Martha, rest in peace.

May sound crazy but Martha took such good care of me and my babies ( now 44 and 42) that I will never forget her. Fly with the angels because you were an angel here on earth. Deepest sympathies to the family.

I am shocked! Martha was someone I thought of as immortal. She lived up to the image of Florence Nightgale! Not only was she an outstanding nurse, she was an outstanding educator, friend, mentor, and human being, not to mention cake lady! I’ll never forget when I delivered my last baby, on the unit where I worked (yes, it was a tad uncomfortable) Martha made no bones about it! I was a patient first & she had a job to do! I am so sorry I will not be present to pay my final respects as I have relocated out of the area. Know that my thoughts & prayers are with her loved ones…you were her life!

Martha was a top notch nurse- kind, caring, professional and dedicated. She was such a great example to all those she worked with. I met her when I started on 3-11 shift at St. Mary’s and considered her a good friend. We recently saw her & though she was having health issues she was her usual pleasant & caring self. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace dear friend. Anne & Rick Sawicki

Martha & I worked together for 4 decades! So many memories to mention. The trips we took for work, the hundreds of mothers & babies we cared for, life challenges outside of work. I thank you Martha for being my friends through the years. RIP. Will miss you!
