Too many memories to mention, but the first two to come to mind are mixing mortar for Otto for the front porch on Tuscarora St. Second is Dick inviting me to the Church men's night at his home in Tenn. He then talk me into cooking the catfish in the deep fryer. If I remember right it is 380 degrees before you can put in a new batch. Many other memories In Lewiston and Memphis. RIP Mr Moses.
Mr. & Mrs. Moses were great supporters of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lewiston for many years when I was growing up. They were both wonderful people and I always enjoyed seeing them every year when they made their visits to WNY. I miss them both. Godspeed, Dick; say hi to Fern for me.
Dear Family,
I grew up and still live in the Village of Lewiston.
My mother and father were both good friends of Fern and Dick. They were all involved in the fire company and politics. They were " people of the 50's " and people like them no longer exist.
I used to enjoy talking with Dick during his stops at St. Paul's.
God bless you.
Sincerely, Blair McEvoy
Bill McGowan and I send our deepest sympathy. This message is especially to Ann Palmer because we were good friends in St. Peter's Young Peoples group many years ago.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
